Not every printer problem is a hardware problem.
A printer can be mechanically functional and still produce unacceptable output. Print-quality problems may be related to cartridges, ink, printheads, nozzle condition, ink delivery, long periods of inactivity, unsuitable consumables or inadequate maintenance.
